Directions to Sandall Beat Community Environment Centre from Racecourse Roundabout

* At the Racecourse Roundabout (the Grand St Leger Hotel is on one corner), turn onto Leger Way (A18)

* Straight on through first traffic lights in right hand lane

* Take right hand lane through next traffic lights (old fire station on left)

* Take right hand filter opposite Wicke's builders' supplies store (this is on your left)

* Turn right across Leger Way onto land next to Racecourse

* Turn left inside racecourse land to drive along Sandall Beat Road (the 'Straight Mile') to the wood

* Enter car park on edge of Sandall Beat Wood - look for barrier to your right

* Park in car park

* Walk into wood past vehicle barrier

* EITHER - walk ahead about 3 metres; turn left onto windy path; follow path through wood, crossing a bridge and a wide track; after about 450 metres you will arrive at a play area and the Centre.

* OR - walk ahead along main track about 200 metres to the first left turn; turn left; continue about 250 metres to the Centre.
